About Us

O’Brien Electrical Armidale, formerly known as Laser Electrical, has been providing local electrical contracting services to the Armidale and New England region for more than 29 years. Our director as of 2019, Sam Uphill (Young employee of the year 2018), has been in the industry since  2011. As the business has grown, our expert team continues delivering electrical solutions to residential, commercial, industrial and rural properties (with the same focus on customer service excellence), from smoke alarms, solar installations to home lighting or rewiring and everything in between.

In 2020, the company decided to join O’Brien Electrical and Plumbing and started a new and promising chapter for the business and our customers. Working with our sister company O’Brien Plumbing Armidale and backed by support from O’Brien, we look forward to continuing to provide your family or business with the highest quality services for many years to come.
