Formerly Starr Electrics, O’Brien Electrical Cairns Central has been a mainstay in the Cairns electrical sector for over 40 years. The business has been owned and operated since 2007 by Dan and Trish Elsden and rebranded in 2019 as O’Brien Electrical Cairns Central. The business has a well-earned reputation of providing expert electrical installations, repairs and maintenance services to clients in the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.  From July 1, 2020 we are taking over the operations of O’Brien Electrical Innisfail and will now be able to extend our excellence service throughout the Cassowary Coast and Cairns Region.

 

 

As Far North Queensland locals, Trish and Dan recognised the difficulty in sourcing high quality, dedicated trade services in the region. This inspired the couple to devise and introduce procedures and policies to set the standard of trade services, specifically electrical, for the Cairns regional market. Once part of Laser Group, O’Brien Electrical Cairns Central partnered with commercial property managers and owners to assist small to medium-sized enterprises, improve cost-effectiveness, and reduce costly downtime caused by electrical faults and outages. All of this was made possible as Trish and Dan carefully and accurately assessed the most appropriate electrical systems, plans and services that could optimise outcomes for both tenants and owners then, and into the future.
