Do you know that as of January 1 2019 – it is mandatory in new homes that all circuits need to be on a safety switch.  This is also the case for any existing circuits that have been altered due to a relocation or addition to an existing circuit.  Any hard-wired appliances where the circuit is now altered in the replacement of the appliance has to comply with this new regulation.
