As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an additional finance officer to join our team in Lismore. While our preference is to find a full-time applicant, we are also open to considering candidates interested in a part-time position.
Responsibilities may Include:
- Efficiently process supplier invoices and conduct monthly reconciliations with statements
- Monitor and update automatic supplier invoices and price files
- Handle weekly payroll, including reviewing timesheets and ensuring compliance
- Process and reconcile customer payments while managing debt collection
- Handle insurance renewals, reviews, and claims, including data entry
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and follow up as necessary
- Manage monthly payment schedules
- Oversee motor vehicle fleet requirements
- Provide support to the team by handling routine, ad-hoc, and miscellaneous tasks
Essential skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to take on challenges
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive and friendly personality with a passion for personal and professional growth
- Proactive and adaptable approach to work
Desirable skills:
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Experience working with multiple entities
- Familiarity with the construction industry
Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience. Even if you lack experience in certain duties, we are open to discussing your potential and providing training as needed.
