A small chip could turn into a totally crazed screen with no frontal vision!
I remember it happening on Windsor road, Baulkham Hills over thirty years ago!
You NEVER forget not knowing or being able to see if you are heading off the road!
If a stone chips your windscreen, GET IT FIXED THE NEXT DAY - usually for nothing through your windscreen insurance extension to your car insurance.

Following a botched repair job on rust O'brien replaced the windscreen and after some 2 years water was again leaking into the car.

I took the car to O'Brien in Shepparton who discovered that the original repair had failed and had spread to both pillars and across the roof, resulting in the leak.

O'Brien arranged for the rust removal and treatment and replaced the windccreen replacing the video rear view camera and Mobile Eye camera.

The Manager, Christopher and his staff were courteous and competant.

Thanks to O'Brien for fixing a problem that was not of their making but still fell under their original warranty.

Why would you go elseware? O'Brien has a rusted on supporter (forgive the pun)

I fixed a Car Camera to the windscreen of my 6 month old car in the wrong place as it picked up the sensor box corner on the screen. Not wanting to damage the adapter trying to remove it I called in to a O'Brien Workshop. No problem said the Book-in guy and sent out a fitter to fix it in the parking bay. A VERY helpful cheery young fitter had it done and then refixed in in a much better position. Cost:- ZERO and and enjoy the rest of your day Chery car, done at Cranbourne West
