O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville makes a $15,000 donation to a family in need

Many families are struggling to make ends meet with this year’s dramatic increase in living costs and interest rates. To ease the burden on one very special young family, O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville is donating $15,000 worth of home maintenance and improvements.

As part of the company’s annual Pay it Forward initiative, O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville will facilitate a full service and repair of all utilities and appliances, and will install an efficient solar system, heat pump, split system, energy advisor as well as other energy efficient upgrades throughout the property.

Together, these enhancements will dramatically reduce the financial outgoings for The Basin home owner, Holly, and increase the value of her home.

Josh Butler, Director of O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville, said; “As a locally owned and operated business, our community is hugely important to us. We always strive to give back where we can, and our Pay it Forward programme is one small way we are able to do this.”

“We are thrilled to help Holly create an energy efficient home that will improve its capital value and significantly reduce her cost of living,” said Josh.

In 2021, Holly tragically lost her husband just weeks before the birth of their first child. Holly was nominated and selected for O'Brien Electrical & Plumbing Rowville’s community programme and gratefully recognised the impact this will have on her life.

“I’m so touched, I truly am. I just can’t express how grateful I am. Life can be really cruel sometimes, but there are also so many good things to feel happy and be grateful for,” commented Holly.

This initiative has the full support of the national O'Brien Group. To further enhance the home’s sustainability credentials O'Brien Glass and Paragon will apply a premium window tint to help reduce heat, glare and sun damage.
